About
Hazard Cards are created by researchers at the Danish research and development institution Learning Lab Denmark in cooperation with INCUBEus and financed by the Danish Ministry of Education.
Hazard Cards is a card game about technological accidents. You can play the game against a computer or you can buy a deck of cards online. You can also create your own Hazard Cards and participate in our efforts to make a new series of Hazard Cards about "Accidents Waiting To Happen".
Hazard Cards can be played like Top Trumps, Happy Families or whatever rules you make up for yourself. Apart from the printed information on each card, this website contains a lot of additional information, links, data, ressources, and texts about the characteristics of technologies and risk assessment theory.
Read about the project, the design, our partners and the aim of this website in the articles on the right and in the "research" area of this site. You can also visit the Hazard Cards Project's homepage at Learning Lab Denmark, where you can find additional publications, media mentions and information on upcoming events.
